OPGC received prestigious Greentech Environment Excellence Gold Award in thermal power sector for the year 2003-04 in recognition to Best Environment Management.

Mr. A. Gochhait, General Manager (Propjects), Mr. P.K.Mohapatra, Manager (Civil) & In-Charge Environment Cell and Mr. Debasis Swain, Deputy Manager participated in the international Conference and Exhibition on Environment Management organized by Greentech Foundation at Ramoji Film City Hyderabad from 4-6th November, 2004 and received the Award. Mr. P.K.Mohapatra presented a technical paper in the conference.
