Bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Contract Cell, Ib Thermal Power Station & from the Technical Department, Corporate Office, 7th Floor, Fortune Towers, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar during working days & office hours on payment of Rs.6000/- as per the following schedule:
(a) Date of sale: 01/08/2005 to 12/08/2005 (b) Date of pre-bid meeting: 19/08/2005 at 11.00 AM at Contract Cell, ITPS (c) Date of receipt / submission: 09/09/2005 Up to 1.00 PM (Both at Contract Cell, ITPS & Corporate Office, Bhubaneswar) (d) Date of opening of Techno-commercial bid: 12/09/2005 at 3.00 P.M (only at Contract Cell, ITPS).
Eligibility criteria :
- The tenderer must have registration from the Govt. of ODISHA as a Super Class License holder / Registered in any other State Govt. having equivalent License / Registered in CPWD OR any Govt. of India Organization having equivalent License / Enlisted in any Public Sector Undertaking OR Railways for executing job of equivalent amount / Agency having experience in the execution of similar specialized jobs.
- The tenderer should have established experience in design and construction of embankment dams. Any tenderer who does not have any experience in design of embankment dams, shall associate a design engineering firm having such experience prior to submission of tender, in which case, the tenderer shall submit the associateship agreement along with the tender.
- The tenderer should have executed in the last 5 years at least one embankment dam of at least 15m. height or should have handled an earthwork of one lakh cubic meter in construction of an embankment dam.
- The tenderer shall be a profit-making firm and shall have achieved a turnover of at least Rs.2.5 crores in any one of the last three financial years (2002-03 to 2004-05).
- The tenderer must possess & submit valid IT PAN, VAT Clearance Certificate, Service Tax Registration Certificate and P.F.Code.
Cost of bid documents (non-refundable) shall be paid by Demand Draft in favour of OPGC Ltd. drawn on State Bank of India (Code-9510) / Andhra Bank (Code-0662) / Central Bank of India (Code-Belpahar). Bid documents shall also be available through post / courier for which the tender fee in the prescribed form should reach Contract Cell, Ib Thermal Power Station, Banharpali-768234, Dist.: Jharsuguda during the sale period. The bid documents can also be submitted through courier / post to Contract Cell, Ib Thermal Power Station only. OPGC shall not take the liability on account of any postal delay for selling & receiving of bid documents. Bids for the above work shall be opened at Contract Cell, ITPS in presence of the tenderers or their authorized representatives if present at the time of opening. If the date of sale, receipt and opening happens to be a HOLIDAY, the tender will be received or opened at the same time on the next working day. The photocopies of all the supporting documents required for participating in the tender mentioned in NIT / tender paper shall be submitted along with the techno-commercial bid, otherwise the bid is liable for rejection.
Bids received after stipulated date & time shall not be entertained. Authority reserves the right to accept, reject any or all tenders or cancel the tender altogether without assigning any reason thereof.
