Eligibility Criteria:
(1) For item No.1 to 3, the contractor should have executed adequate similar type of works to the satisfaction of the Owner in a power plant of 210 MW or above during last 03 years ending last day of the month previous to the one on which tenders are invited, i.e. from 01/08/2002 to 31/07/2005. For item No.1, the contractor should have adequate experience in coal mills, boiler feed pumps, rotary air pre-heaters, hot primary air fans of 210 MW and above power plant during 01/08/2002 to 31/07/2005. The Firms should have inline experience for item No.4.
(2) The average annual turnover of the contractor during the preceding three (03) financial years, i.e. from 2002 to 2005, shall not be less than Rs.75 lacs for item No.1; less than Rs.35 lakhs for item No.3, & less than Rs.20 lakhs for item No.2.
(3) The contractor should have valid VAT/Sales Tax Clearance Certificate, IT PAN, Service Tax Registration No., and Provident Fund Code No.
(4) The contractor should be a BHEL approved contractor for item No.1, Reputed experienced contractor for item No.2, Approved contractor of M/s Elecon Engineering / Reputed contractor for item No.3, and any Reputed Firm for item No.4.
(5) The contractor should possess required T&P for execution of the job mentioned under the detailed scope of work and adequate resources and experienced skilled manpower with relevant trade license wherever applicable. Details should be submitted along with the techno-commercial bid.
Note: The selected agency must obtain boiler repair license from CIF, ODISHA for item No.1 and ELBO License (ODISHA) as applicable for electrical works for Item No.1 & 3. The Firms/Suppliers participated in the above tender may be considered for enlistment as contractors for our future requirement for the above group & related works to the above group.

Sale of Bid documents from dt.25/08/2005 to dt.05/09/2005 during working days. Bids shall be received up to 1.00 P.M of dt.10/09/2005. The Techno-commercial Bids shall be opened at Contract Cell, ITPS at 3.00 P.M on dt.10/09/2005.
Important Dates: For item at Sl.No.4
Sale of Bid documents from dt.22/08/2005 to dt.10/09/2005 during working days. Bids shall be received up to 1.00 P.M of dt.20/09/2005. The Techno-commercial Bids shall be opened at Contract Cell, ITPS at 3.00 P.M on dt.20/09/2005.
Bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Contract Cell, ITPS as per above scheduled dates during working days on submission of cost mentioned above. The cost of bid documents (non-refundable) shall be paid by Demand Draft in favour of OPGC Ltd. drawn on State Bank of India (Code-9510) / Andhra Bank (Code-0662) / Central Bank of India (Code-Belpahar). Bid documents can also be downloaded from the Company’s website “www.opgc.co.in” and can be used as tender document, in which case the cost of the same shall have to be submitted along with the “Techno-commercial” part / bid and the draft towards the cost of tender (separate from EMD) should be prepared before the last dates of sale of respective tenders, otherwise shall be summarily rejected. In case of any discrepancy found between tender document downloaded from website and the master copy in our office, the latter should prevail. No claim on this account shall be entertained. Bids shall be received as per above schedule at the office of the Manager (Electrical), Contract Cell, ITPS. The Techno-commercial Bids shall be opened at Contract Cell, ITPS as per above schedule in presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives if present at the time of opening. If the date of sale, receipt and opening happens to be a HOLIDAY the tender shall be sold or received or opened at the same time on the next working day. The photocopies of all the supporting documents required for participating in the tender mentioned in NIT / tender paper shall be submitted along with the techno-commercial part for qualification (two bid), otherwise the bid is liable for rejection. Sale of tender paper does not conclude for opening of Price Bid unless the bidder qualifies in the Techno-commercial Bid. Authorized representative must be Proprietor / Partner / Director or permanent employee with special authorization for this purpose. The firms participated in this tender shall be considered for enlistment of contractors for the above groups mentioned above for all of our future requirement.
Bids received after stipulated date & time shall not be entertained. OPGC shall not take any liability on account of any postal delay. Authority reserves the right to accept, reject or split up the scope & quantity among eligible bidders or cancel the whole tender without assigning any reason thereof.
