Bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Contract Cell, Ib Thermal Power Station & from the Technical Department, Corporate Office, 7 th Floor, Fortune Towers, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar during working days & office hours on payment of Rs.6000/- as per the following schedule.
(a) Date of sale: 05/01/2006 to 16/01/2006 (b) Date of receipt / submission: 21/01/2006 Up to 1.00 PM (Both at Contract Cell, ITPS & Corporate Office, Bhubaneswar) (c) Date of opening: 23/01/2006 at 3.00 P.M (Only at Contract Cell, ITPS).

Interested parties may communicate the Expression-of-Interest in their letterheads along with work completion certificate, copies of work orders of relevant jobs & relevant documents as mentioned in the eligibility criteria to reach Contract Cell, Ib Thermal Power Station, Banharpali on or before 10/01/2006 positively. Expression-of-Interest are invited for evaluation purpose only & shall not be construed as Tender/Bid, in any manner. OPGC shall not take any liability on account of postal delay. The detailed specification for this job shall be seen from the website www.opgc.co.in.
Eligibility criteria for works at SlNo.1 & 2:
• The bidder/interested party must have registration from the Govt. of ODISHA as a Special Class License holder or above / Registered in any other State Govt. having equivalent License / Registered in CPWD OR any Govt. of India Organization having equivalent License / Enlisted in any Public Sector Undertaking OR Railways for executing job of equivalent amount / Agency having experience in the execution of similar specialized jobs.
• The bidder/interested party must possess & submit valid Income Tax PAN No., Sales Tax / VAT Clearance Certificate, Provident Fund Registration Certificate.
For work at SlNo.1 only
Cost of bid documents (non-refundable) shall be paid by Demand Draft in favour of OPGC Ltd. drawn on State Bank of India (Code-9510) / Andhra Bank (Code-0662) / Central Bank of India (Code-Belpahar) . Bid documents can also be downloaded from the Company's website "www.opgc.co.in" and can be used as tender document , in which case the cost of the same shall have to be submitted along with the bid and the draft towards the cost of tender (separate from EMD) should be prepared before the last date of sale of tender, otherwise shall be summarily rejected. In case of any discrepancy found between tender document downloaded from website and the master copy in our office, the latter should prevail. No claim on this account shall be entertained. Bids for the work shall be received at both the venues mentioned above and shall be opened only at Contract Cell, ITPS in presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives if present at the time of opening. If the date of sale, receipt and opening happens to be a HOLIDAY , the tender will be opened or received and opened at the same time on the next working day. The photocopies of all the supporting documents required for participating in the tender mentioned in NIT / tender paper shall be submitted along with the bid; otherwise the bid is liable for rejection.
Bids received after stipulated date & time shall not be entertained. OPGC shall not take any liability on account of any postal delay. Authority reserves the right to accept, reject any or all tenders, split up the contract among bidders or cancel the tender altogether without assigning any reasons thereof. The estimate is approximate only & prepared based on broad features and market survey. Time is the essence of this contract.
