Bid documents for the above works can be obtained either from the office of the Contract Cell, Ib Thermal Power Station or from Technical Department, OPGC Corporate Office, Bhubaneswar during working days on submission of tender cost as mentioned above. The date of sale, receipt and opening of bids shall be as per the following schedule:
(a) Date of sale: 15.05.2006 to 20.05.2006 (b) Date of receipt: Up to 22.05.2006 (c) Date of opening: 24.05.2006 from 3.00 P.M. onwards..
Cost of bid documents (non-refundable) shall be paid by Demand Draft in favour of OPGC Ltd. drawn on State Bank of India (Code-9510) / Andhra Bank (Code-0662) / Central Bank of India (Code-Belpahar). Bid documents can also be downloaded from our website “www.opgc.co.in” and can be used as tender document, in which case the cost of the same shall have to be submitted along with the bid and the Draft towards the cost of tender (separate from EMD) should be prepared before the last date of sale of tender, otherwise shall be summarily rejected. In case of any discrepancy found between tender document downloaded from website and the master copy in our office, the latter should prevail. No claim on this account shall be entertained. Completed bids shall be received either at Contract Cell, ITPS or at Corporate Office, Bhubaneswar. The bids can also be sent through Post to reach the undersigned on or before 22/05/2006 (Up to 5.00 P.M.). Bids for all the works shall be opened only at Contract Cell, ITPS in presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives if present at the time of opening. If the date of sale, opening and receipt happens to be a HOLIDAY, the tender will be opened or received and opened at the same time on the next working day. The photocopies of all the supporting documents required for participating in the tender mentioned in NIT / Tender paper shall be submitted along with the bid, otherwise the bid is liable for rejection.
Bids received after stipulated date & time shall not be entertained. OPGC shall not take any liability on account of any postal delay. Authority reserves the right to accept, reject any or all tenders, split up the scope among eligible bidders or cancel the tender altogether without assigning any reason thereof.
