Bid documents for the above works can be obtained from the office of the Contract Cell, Ib Thermal Power Station during working days on submission of tender cost as mentioned above. The date of sale, receipt and opening of bids shall be as per the following schedule:

(a) Date of sale: 09.06.2006 to 21.06.2006 (b) Date of receipt: 25.06.2006 Up to 5.00 P.M. (c) Date of opening: 26.06.2006 at 10.00 A.M. (Techno-commercial Bid only).

Eligibility criteria:
1) Agency having experience in the execution of similar specialized jobs in 2 x 210 MW or more capacity power plant.
2) The bidder must possess &submit valid income Tax /VAT Clearance Certificate, Provident Fund Registration certificate.
3) For work at Sl.No 2,the agency should have expertise & expertise in conducting RLA study and should have carried out RLAstudy of at least 04(four) nos, boiler of size 210 MW or above in last 5 years of each order value not less than Rs.10 lacs.The agency should have in house testing facilities or should have an agreement with reputed Center Govt,/StateGovt,/National Laboratory. The agent should have sufficient experts from different fields viz design, engeneering, metallurgy and Non-destructive testing for caring RLA works, which will, includes. NDT experts-level 2/3,Graduate metallurgist with experience/expertise in RLA.
4) For works at Sl.No.6, 7 and 9 the bidders should possess valid Electrical (HT) License.
5) For work at Sl.No.8 the bidder should be manufacturer of ESP of 210 MW Plant or above.

Cost of bid documents (non-refundable) shall be paid by Demand Draft in Favour of OPGC Ltd. Drawn on State Bank Of India (code-9510) / Andhra Bank (code-0662) /Central Bank Of India (code-Belpahar) . Bid documents can also be downloaded from the company’s website”www.opgc.co.in” and can be used as tender document, in which case the cost of the same shall have to be submitted along with the “Techno-commercial” part and the draft towards the cost of tender (separate from EMD) should be prepared before the last date of sale of tender, otherwise shall be summarily rejected. In case of any discrepancy found between tender document downloaded from website and the master copy in our office, the latter should prevail. No claim on this Account shall be entertained. Completed bid shall be received at contract cell ITPS . Bids for all the works shall be opened only at contract cell, ITPS in Presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives if present at the time of sale, opening and receipt happens to be a HOLIDAY, the tender will be opened or received and opened at the same time on the next working day the photocopies of all the supporting documents required for participating in the tender mentioned in NIT / Tender paper shall be submitted along with the techno-commercial part for qualification in techno commercial bid otherwise the bid is liable for rejection.

Bids received after stipulated date & time shall not be entertained. OPGC shall not take any liability on account of any postal delay. Authority reserves the right to accept, reject any or all tenders, split of the scope among eligible bidders or cancel the tender altogether without any reason thereof.
