Separate sealed bids for each work in prescribed format are invited from bonafide and financially sound agencies having inline experience, Provident Fund Registration Certificate, Service Tax Registration Certificate, valid Income Tax PAN and VAT/Sales Tax Registration Certificate for execution of the following works at Ib Thermal Power Station, Banharpali. The agencies not having Service Tax Code shall submit copy of application made to appropriate department seeking Service Tax Code OR submit an undertaking to produce the Service Tax Code before award of the job in the event they are successful, failing which their EMD shall be forfeited. Bids with out EMD shall be out rightly rejected.

Eligibility Criteria for the work at Sl. No.1:

1. The bidder must have registration from the Govt. of ODISHA as a ‘A’ Class License holder or above / Registered in any other State Govt. having equivalent License / Registered in CPWD OR any Govt. of India Organization having equivalent License / Enlisted in any Public Sector Undertaking OR Railways for executing job of equivalent amount / Agency having experience in the execution of similar specialized jobs.
2. The bidder should have successfully completed one single work involving ash/earthwork for a minimum value of Rs.20 lakh during last 05 years. Completion certificate in support of the same shall be produced.
3. The bidder shall be a profit-making firm and shall have achieved a turn over of at least Rs.1 crore in any one of the last 03 financial years (2003 – 2006).
4. The bidder must be having valid IT PAN, VAT/Sales Tax Registration Certificate, Provident Fund Registration Certificate and Service Tax Registration Certificate of appropriate category.

Eligibility Criteria for the work at Sl. No.5:

1. The bidder must have completed in last 03 financial years at least one single work of similar nature/building construction work for a minimum value of Rs.25 lakh in a single contract (Bidder to attach documentary evidence in this regard).
2. Preference will be given to the bidders who have executed the work of Indoor Badminton Court earlier.
3. The bidder must be having valid IT PAN, VAT/Sales Tax Registration Certificate, Provident Fund Registration Certificate and Service Tax Registration Certificate of appropriate category.

Eligibility Criteria for the work at Sl. No.9:

1. The bidder must have completed in last 03 financial years at least one single work of Fire detection/Supervision system for a minimum value of Rs.2 lakh in a single contract (Bidder to attach documentary evidence in this regard).
2. The average turnover of the bidder during the last 03 financial years must not be less than Rs.10 lakh (Bidder must submit audited copies of Profit & Loss A/c & Balance Sheet).
3. The bidder must be having valid IT PAN, VAT/Sales Tax Registration Certificate, Provident Fund Registration Certificate and Service Tax Registration Certificate of appropriate category.

Cost of bid documents (non-refundable) shall be paid by Cash/Demand Draft in favour of OPGC Ltd. drawn on State Bank of India (Code-9510) / Andhra Bank (Code-0662) / Central Bank of India (Code-Belpah). Bid documents can also be downloaded from our website “www.opgc.co.in” and can be used as tender document, in which case the cost of the same shall have to be submitted along with the bid and the Draft towards the cost of tender (separate from EMD) should be prepared before the last date of sale of tender, otherwise shall be summarily rejected. In case of any discrepancy found between tender document downloaded from website and the master copy in our office, the latter should prevail. No claim on this account shall be entertained. Complete bids shall be received either at Contract Cell, ITPS or at Corporate Office, Bhubaneswar. The bids can also be sent through Post to reach the undersigned on or before 03/05/2007 (Up to 5.00 P.M.) for all other works except at Sl.No.5, and 22/05/2007 (Up to 5.00 P.M.) for the work at Sl.No.5. Bids shall be opened only at Contract Cell, ITPS in presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives if present at the time of opening. If the date of sale, receipt and opening happens to be a HOLIDAY, the tender will be opened or received and opened at the same time on the next working day. The photocopies of all the supporting documents required for participating in the tender mentioned in NIT/Tender paper shall be submitted along with the bid; otherwise the bid is liable for rejection. Bids with out EMD shall be out rightly rejected.

             Bids received after stipulated date & time shall not be entertained. OPGC shall not take any liability on account of any postal delay. Authority reserves the right to accept, reject any or all tenders, split up the scope among eligible bidders or cancel the tender altogether without assigning any reason thereof.
