NOTICE INVITING TENDER
NIT No. ITPS/CC-22/2010/89 Date: 08/09/2010

Separate Sealed bids in ‘Two Part System’ and in the prescribed format are invited from bona fide and financially sound reputed agencies / registered Firms / Companies for execution of the following works at Ib-Thermal Power Station, Banharpali in the coming COH of Unit-II during November-2010.

Capital Overhauling Work of Mechanical Equipments:
Boiler Pressure Parts, Fuel Firing System, Soot Blowers, Valves, Safety Valves servicing & setting, Ducts / Dampers / Gates, Mills, Feeders, Fans, TG Auxiliaries including High Pressure jet Cleaning, In-situ Valve servicing, Ash Handling, Cooling Tower & Miscellaneous jobs) of Unit-II at ITPS for the year 2010.

2 Annual Overhauling of Electrical, C&I Equipments:
Annual Overhauling Work of Electrical, C&I Equipments (220KV Switch yard Equipments, DC System, Generator Auxiliary Panels, 7.2KV & 24KV Bus duct, HT&LT Switchgears, Dry Type Transformers, HT&LT Motors, Power Transformers, Complete Overhauling of UAT & Colony Transformer, Electrostatic Precipitator, Dampers & Actuators, Electrical Facility Services etc, C&I works) of 210MW Unit-II at ITPS for the year 2010.

The cost of tender paper for Sl. No. 1 & 2 is Rs.6000/- each.

  • Time of completion: Total outage time of unit will be maximum 25 days from breaker out to breaker in. The work shall be complete as per the schedule to meet the above requirement.

Eligibility criteria:
1. Bidders should possess & submit valid Income Tax PAN and VAT/Sales Tax Registration Certificate, Service Tax Registration Certificate, Provident Fund Registration Certificate for execution of the said works at Ib-Thermal Power Station, Banharpali.
2. Must have executed at least 02 (two) nos of AOH/COH works during last 05(five) years in 210 MW or above capacity Thermal Power Plants in the areas of Boiler & Auxiliaries, TG & Auxiliaries, Mills & Feeders, Fans, Pumps and Valves.
3. Inline experience as per details given in the documents. For the work at Sl. No.1 Bidder must possess valid Boiler Repair License and for work at SlNo.2, bidder must possess valid Electrical HT license from the appropriate authority.
4. Minimum Average Annual Turnover of the Vendor should not be less than Rs. 3 Crores in last 3(Three) Years for the similar nature of job executed in India.
Bid documents can be obtained from Contract Cell, Ib Thermal Power Station, Banharpali during working days on submission of tender cost as mentioned above. Bid documents can also be downloaded from our website www.opgc.co.in and used as tender document. The date of sale, receipt and opening of bids shall be as per the following schedule:

(a) Date of sale: 18/09/2010 to 01/10/2010 for all items (b) Date of receipt/ submission: Up to 1:00 PM of 08/10/2010 (c) Date of opening of Tech. Bid: (i) 08/10/2010 at 3:00 PM for Sl.No.1 (ii) 08/10/2010 from 03:30PM for Sl.No.2.

Cost of bid documents (non-refundable) shall be paid by Cash / Demand Draft in favour of OPGC Ltd. drawn on State Bank of India (Code-9510) / Andhra Bank (Code-0662) / Central Bank of India (Code-Belpah). Cost of bid documents, if downloaded from our website, shall have to be submitted along with the bid and the DD towards the tender cost (separate from EMD) should be prepared before the last date of sale of tender, otherwise shall be liable for rejection. In case of any discrepancy found between tender document downloaded from website and the master copy in our office, the latter should prevail. No claim on this account shall be entertained. Complete bids shall be received at Contract Cell, ITPS. Bids shall also be opened at Contract Cell, ITPS in presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives if present at the time of opening. If the last date of sale / receipt / opening happens to be a HOLIDAY, the tender will be sold / received / opened at the respective time on the next working day. The photocopies of all the supporting documents required for participating in the tender mentioned in NIT/Tender paper shall be submitted along with the bid; otherwise the bid is liable for rejection. Bids without EMD will be rejected outright.

Bids received after stipulated date & time shall not be entertained. OPGC shall not take any liability on account of any postal delay. Authority reserves the right to accept / reject any or all tenders, split up the scope among eligible bidders or cancel the tender altogether without assigning any reason thereof.
